Reasons Behind The Defeat Of Manchester United Against Manchester City

Manchester : Manchester City appear superior against rivals Manchester United in the Manchester derby held at Etihad Stadium , Sunday, September 22, 2012 , yesterday . If a number of opportunities can be completed , City almost repeat sensational 6-1 victory over the Red Devils as happened at Old Trafford , October 2011 .
Manchester City 4-1 Manchester United Premier League

Here are some of the reasons behind the biggest defeat suffered by David Moyes's squad earlier in the season :

1 . The absence of Robin van PersieBefore the match held prestigious , Manchester United suffered another blow with the injury to Robin van Persie mainstay bomber who suffered a muscle injury in his groin . Therefore , Moyes changed his strategy by lowering Danny Welbeck to accompany Wayne Rooney . Was evident throughout the game front-line Red Devils appeared sluggish . Moreover , since the early minutes Rooney appeared emotional . Coupled with Welbeck bad day , very appropriate that in the first half of the MU failed opportunities to be creative means to goalkeeper Joe Hart .
2 . Manchester United poor defenseMoyes decision of two lower central defender : Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic , for the third time in one week questionable . With advanced age , they seem to have been physically drained . Focus and lines of communication between them so faded . The third goal is scored when Sergio Aguero second half lasted less than two minutes is a valid proof of the failure of Ferdinand and Vidic establish mutual understanding .
3 . Factors Marouane FellainiNot a few people who questioned what position would embrace the former Everton star in Manchester United 's starting line - up . Moyes argued Fellaini would be ace for Manchester United. The proof , along the derby match , there is no light that emanated from the player who is easily recognized by the her frizzly hair . Naturally, if the United fans who questioned Fellaini functions throughout the game is almost similar to the task performed by Michael Carrick as the midfield general . The question arises , why not lower Moyes Japanese star Shinji Kagawa .
4 . Dominant Line Of Attack CityWith the 4-2-3-1 composition , Manuel Pellegrini commissioned as a defensive midfielder Yaya Toure and Fernandinho , while three attacking midfielder Jesus Navas filled , Samir Nasri , and Alvaro Negredo , to support the movement of Sergio Aguero . On the ground was clearly evident , if the composition of the Citizens really devastated Manchester United defense .
Toure and Fernandinho turns support the attack . Also the case with Negredo and Aguero who often switch places . Lively former Sevilla winger Jesus Navas unstoppable veteran defender Patrice Evra and the " assistant " Ashley Young . Thus even with a true Nasri David Silva revealed as a coating .
